Great - the staff take great care and pride in their work - and the owner seems very passionate about quality rather than quantity - he was telling me one night that his background is as a Head Chef and I don't doubt it having eaten most of the items on the menu here! The food really is of a very high quality - far above the expected normal for a chippy. I would travel the length of the country for their Pasties - the best I've ever tasted and my favourite item they sell. Fish (really fresh local produce) and Chicken (actual Chicken, for a change) are top notch too, and the Burgers are very generous and really tasty. Can't think of any way I'd ask them to improve. I travel to them from Bangor in preference to any chip shop nearer me. Try them - you'll not be disappointed.

The service is FANTASTIC. The food is EXCELLENT - I love the 'Monster Burger'.... Great value and a superb feed! I drive from Ballywalter to Newtownards (30 mile round trip) to use this place. The place is always immaculate. Keep up the good work!

i've been going to this "chippy" since it opened in jan 08, great food every time guaranteed! it's nice to see fish being cooked from fresh too, not a very common sight these days!
